Michael Mermelstein

Mermelstein is a market research professional specializing in qualitative research and project management. His project experience includes business-to-business, medical, consumer, public policy, and governmental studies and spans a wide range of products, services and policy areas. Mermelstein is a national leader of the survey research profession. He has served as President of the Marketing Research Association (MRA), the nation’s largest association of market research companies.

Mermelstein is former Chair and current member of the Government Relations Committee at the MRA.

He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Marketing Research Institute International (MRII), a distance-learning program for the survey and opinion research profession offered through the University of Georgia. Mermelstein has conducted focus groups and in-depth individual interviews with public officials, opinion leaders, Fortune 500 executives, educators, diplomats, scientists, doctors, nurses, Congressional staff, sports figures and high-end consumers.
